A Pink (Korean: 에이핑크, Japanese: エイーピンク; stylized as Apink) is a South Korean girl group under A Cube Entertainment formed in 2011. The group consists of Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jung Eun-ji, Son Na-eun, Kim Nam-joo and Oh Ha-young. Hong Yoo-kyung left the group in April 2013 to focus on her studies.

The first trainee to be revealed as a member of Cube Entertainment's new girl group was Son Na-eun, who was featured in labelmate Beast's "Soom" (; "Breath"), "Beautiful" and "Niga Jeil Joha" (니가 제일 좋아; "I Like You the Best") music videos in late 2010. The second member revealed was the group's leader, Park Cho-rong, who was shown at the end of Beast's "Shock" Japanese music video. It was later revealed that the new girl group would be managed by a sub-division of Cube Entertainment known as A Cube Entertainment. On February 21, A Cube set up an official Twitter account and revealed Oh Ha-young as the third member of A Pink.  Jung Eun-ji was the fourth member revealed through A Cube's Twitter through a video of her singing a rendition of Jennifer Hudson's "Love You I Do". Hong Yoo-kyung was similarly revealed through an online video where she was playing the piano. Yoon Bo-mi and Kim Nam-joo were the last members to be revealed through Twitter.

Prior to the group's debut, the documentary A Pink News aired on the Korean cable channel Trend E. The show chronicled the debut process of the members of A Pink. Each episode featured a different celebrity guest as its anchorman. Among the celebrity guests of the show were G.NA, Mario, MBLAQ's Seung Ho and G.O, Beast, 4minute, 2AM's Jinwoon, Infinite's Sunggyu and Sungjong, and Secret's Sunhwa and Hyoseong.

The group has released five Korean extended plays and one studio album. They debuted on April 21, 2011, with "Mollayo" (몰라요; "I Don't Know") from their debut extended play (EP) Seven Springs of A Pink on Mnet's M! Countdown. A Pink released their Japanese debut single album, NoNoNo on October 22, 2014. Yoon Bomi and Kim Namjoo formed a sub-unit called Apink BnN, and released a single, "My Darling", in June 2014, produced by Brave Brothers."My Darling" was later included on Pink Luv, the fifth extended play of A Pink. Their fifth Korean EP, Pink Luv, was released on November 24, 2014.

On July 18 2014, A Pink announced their 'APINK NEW LOGO CONTEST' to changes their old logo.


Among the entries, a new logo has been chosen and finally unveiled through A Pink's Facebook on August 19 2014. The new logo of A Pink is designed by Song Hye Min. It is simple but pretty which represents the innocent and pure image of A Pink members.
